Should a Christian Get a Tattoo?

26 January 2010 One Comment

Well, the question may not sound so simple!  Simple?  Okay, if you have been thinking through this yourself, a trajectory of how one should be thinking through this issue may not seem so illuminated!

However, in this question the dynamite may also be in the details, as the question gets a little more tricky, as the questioner goes on to ask… Even If My Parents Don’t Like It?

So what do you think?

In this first post, Russell “there is Moore to the point” poses this question in a post, giving the bloggee an opportunity to throw their pearls at the reading swine, offering up their thoughts on the question at hand… which you can read HERE!

I had put this post in a safe place, away as a draft, waiting for the Moore’s (not the Moors) response, and it has taken some days, but his thoughts have hit daylight, and he has provided his insight>answer to this question… HERE (Thanks to J-Taylor for the illumination).

As a Father of a Teen, I have thought about the whole Tattoo thing, for myself that is, in light of this contextual reality, and at present, I have remained constrained.
