Matt Chandler Update, Article, and Resources on Suffering!

2 February 2010 2 Comments

The team at the Village church have recently post the third video update from Matt Chandler on their blog.

In this video, Matt mentions the present impacts of the treatment on his health, but as I watched this, it did seem that the man is becoming physically more resilient.  If this is more than just my observation, than such will be a helpful reality in combating the next period of treatment.

Anyway, watch the video… please

I would really encourage you to pray for this man, and the whole context of this journey, from family to the faithful!

To help provide some context for this, the following article by the Associated Press on Chandler’s story, will give you many details about the whole context, and as one who has followed this story, much insider information.  This will really help you to key into this unfolding narrative.  It is intimate and moving!

You can find it HERE!

Finally, at the Village blog, in light of this story in the AP, the Village crew have decided to provide two resources to help address the questions that have been asked about God and suffering.

You can find these resources by visiting this page… HERE!

If suffering is a present issue in your life, and if it is not, one day it will be, then make the most of these resources that will help you think through this challenge under the Sun!
