Sadly, we humans in our culture are so prone to forget the tragedy once the pictures on our TV’s move onto the next issue, however, while our viewing may change, such will not be the case for those in the Haitian context, and we all need to remember this, and remind ourselves that while our proximity to the timing of the quake may have passed, our proximity to the timing of the tragedy continues even this day, and will do so for much time to come.

Therefore, in light of this, the call to help those in this context is just as pressing as it was moments after that quake hit, and we need to carry on and remember those stuck in time of human suffering!
