Leeland: Tears of the Saints

For the three people who are waiting for Saturday’s blog diary from Parachute, I can inform you that this is on its way. Man of Spin has been rather focused on an upcoming blog expenditure in the recent days, that and the payment that such extracted for this to be a future reality. If such sounds rather convoluted, all will be made clear in the not too distant future!

However, subsequent to the Chute, and as a way of whetting your appetite for future diary entries, I have had a form of this following number from Leeland enter my mind, which then seeks to motivate my mouth to follow suit, but as this was the first time that I heard this number, all has not been clear.

As I looked for this number, found it, and have watched this on the Tube, such has highlighted the dusty nature of our present worldly context, as the words, the sound, and the intensity of reality that this number communicates should be screaming, polseto like, about a subject that is never merely academic!

The crippled, the broken, the destitute, the lost, and the homeless, both physically and spiritually need some outside assistance to truly love them… like Christ… who didn’t just talk about salvation, but did something about it, by dying a sinners death that we deserved to give us a righteous-imputed life that we could never have earned and surely do not deserve!

While it is true that as a concept, Messiah was compelled by the Father’s will, it would seem from the account in the Garden, that this calling was not just an intellectual matter for the Son of Man to entertain, but was something that had worked it’s way through the very personhood of His being.

Surely, the problem with you and me when we approach such matters, is that, unlike Jesus, when such concepts that this number from Leeland communicates, enters our minds, it very quickly exits our ears, instead of gaining the foothold in the seat of our humanity, where it would positively corrupt us out of complacency, instead of our musing for a moment, only to walk on in the same manner that we arrived at its conceptual reality.

We need to really believe, and then we will really be prepared to act!
