What’s new? Christianity has survived for over 2000 years the assault of the biggest guns, both from within and outside the church, by skeptics, atheists, so-called “higher critics,revisionists, reductionists, liberalism, rationalism, secular humanism, evolutionary dogmatism, etc. and Christians are supposed to be concerned (or even alarmed)that many in our cultural contexts want to affirm that “Belief in God is a Delusional Road-Block to Progress.” Give me a break! Yes, Christians should respond to these nonsensical allegations (Dawkins’book “The God Delusion” has been thoroughly and biblically answered and refuted)but never be surprised, or alarmed, that many in our culture will continue to attack the Bible and the God of the Bible (1 Timothy 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 4:1-4; 2 Peter 2:1-3, 18-19; etc.). Even Satan has his own ministers of unrighteousness (see 2 Corinthians 11:13-15).
