This will be a subject where mere presuppositions will once again hold sway, and if History is written by the winners, I am looking forward to details… although that is another discipline from Science!
What I have noticed, in a very anecdotal sense, is that in these debates, there is nothing like a bit of William Lane Craig to get both sides warmed up… at either ends… of the theistic-to-atheistic spectrum!
Therefore, time to go fishing…

This is the classic strawman argument. If someone makes a claim of something supernatural they need to prove it or accept that people do not believe what they believe.
If I said I could fly you would ask me to prove it. If I said “I can’t fly around you because you do not have faith” You would logically beleive that I could not fly.
