Best Books in 2009: Russell Moore

15 January 2010 No Comment

Yes, Man of Spin is behind the times, but he is trying to get in front…. No, No, No, get somewhere up-to-date, with his 2009, back log of posts!

While numerous days have clicked on into 20 that is 10, there is still much in the 09, which may be worth your perusal!

One such context is definitely the subject of books, with another list, from another blogger-scholar… or should that be the other way around?!

Anyway, Dr Moore describes his list this way…

Remember this is a “non-working” list so I’ve not included any explicitly theological or pastoral works here. There are lots of books in those categories that would fit in a top-ten list as well.

I’m not saying these are “the best” books of the year. As I look at each one of them, I can see something of how God’s providence in my life leads me to resonate with it. These are books I’ve enjoyed and have made me think or feel something significant in the past year.

When you visit this list, take note that there is a blog post (which is linked) for each of these Ten Books, so you can get a further perspective into what Dr Moore may be on about and why he included that title in his list!

Enjoy!
