Best Books in 2009: Andreas Kostenberger’s List!

16 December 2009 One Comment

I don’t know about you, but books are my friends, with the more, being the merrier!

Therefore, I find it interesting to read what other people, trustworthy [in this example] or otherwise, have been reading, and what they have found worthwhile.  It can also be a ‘heads up’ about a title I may have missed, and an affirmation that a title is worth spending one’s ever-diminishing financial resources on!

If you have not heard of this man.  Here is how Crossway Books describe him…

Andreas J. Köstenberger is director of PhD Studies and professor of New Testament at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is a prolific author, distinguished evangelical scholar, and Editor of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society.

Here are a couple of his titles that may interest you…

God, Marriage, and Family: Rebuilding the Biblical Foundation

and

Quo Vadis, Evangelicalism?: Perspectives on the Past, Direction for the Future: Nine Presidential Addresses from the First Fifty Years of the Journal of Evangelical Society

Nevertheless, you are wanting me to get to the point of this posting… Here we go then!

HERE is Andreas Kostenberger’s Best Biblical/ Theological Books of 2009
