A reader has suggested we write to Benny Hinn Ministries and ask them to comment on the earlier video clip on this website (lots more on YouTube exposing the con-man btw).
Lacking the time to deal with these pseudo-Christian money-preaching charlatans, I have just sent them a link to this page and offered them the freedom to post a reply. I’m not a betting bloke, but what are the chances?
Hi Guys, It’s good to see you slagging off that huckster Hinn.
However I see John Spong to the left of this input box. He actually has some reasonable things to say. He’s also not asking you to accept everything he says only consider his thoughts.
I’d love to see you link to a publication like the Spong one dedicated to these money grabbing televangelists… Hinn, Haggart etc etc.
I’d say your ‘flock’ is more vunerable to the likes of Hinn, after it all it takes education and intelligence to be taken in by Spong
also I have to ask is this:

Hi Gareth. What does Spong have to say that is AT ALL useful to Christianity? Please enlighten us. Spong is a liberal ‘christian’ who lacks the intellectual integrity to engage with people of this this website’s persuasion. See for example his debate with Dr. James White (www.aomin.org) and White’s follow-up commentary.
I think it is the charismatics and pentecostals that are vulnerable to Hinn. Very few people in those circles have an form of Biblical literacy in my experience, let alone the ability to think rationally.
I think you’re right about the clappies being vulnerable to Hinn. Well said.
What does Spong say that’s useful? Well to me, he provides a platform within which Atheists can participate in church life
Enlighten you… well that’s the issue really, you’ve missed that portion of history by about 200 years.
For those who are interested, James Randi has been a thorn in the side of charlatans like Hinn for many years.
He exposes their techniques and explains why ordinary people get ‘taken’ by these con artists.
Perhaps his most famous expose was of Peter Popoff.
